A nomadic contemporary art gallery dedicated to Supporting communities affected by conflict.
Reizck Project is a dual-mission contemporary art initiative rooted in cultural legacy and forward-thinking vision. The gallery produces a small number of highly curated pop-up exhibitions in unexpected spaces across America, bringing contemporary art to overlooked, obscure, and often forgotten locations throughout the U.S. In parallel, it supports grassroots creative programming for communities in the U.S. and around world affected by conflict and displacement.
Our work resists the systems that too often strip art of its urgency and accessibility. Instead, we advocate for the power of the artistic process to connect, heal, and ignite change, especially in communities that need it most.
The name is derived from founder Merritt Spangler’s grandmother’s maiden name, honoring her Lebanese heritage. Pronounced ri-zk, it’s an anglicized tribute to the lineage and history that inspire the gallery’s ethos and mission.
